I went into Eriks to look at a good road bike - above entry level but not Tour de France! I had a specific price point in mind based on the research I had done ahead of time. Aaron Robinson assisted me. He was super helpful and I felt he had my best interests in mind. It's a big purchase and I wanted to be happy with the bike for years to come - but also stay within my budget! Aaron showed me a couple of different options varying in price. He explained the differences to me. Much more importantly, he let me take each bike out for a test ride so that I could FEEL the difference. Long story short, I love my bike! In fact, I did three triathalons this summer (I'm a new comer to the sport) and my bike performed like a champ! I trusted Aaron to stear me in the right direction and he didn't let me down. So much so that I returned 4 months later and bought my husband a new bike. We are both happy customers!

Meghan was a huge help today! I was there looking for a bike for my 10 year old boy, and a snowboard for my 12 year old son! Meghan greeted me with great customer service and helped answer my questions thoroughly! I would have given a five-star review, because she deserves it, however, the bald man in the service department came across as rude and couldn't be bothered answering any questions. Instead of getting up from his seat to walk me over to the "used Childrens bike rack" he told me they didn't have any in stock....interesting when I actually walked over there, there happened to be two options for me out of the 3 available! So needless to say, the service department cost you a bike sale...the snowboard on the other hand, I will come in when the shipment arrives and look for Meghan!

I only bought some bearings and a skate tool but they were a huge help.

It was also a few minutes to closing and no one hurried us.

I came in for a bike lock and no one greeted me. After I figured out where they were and was almost done making my selection I was asked if I needed help. At that point I didn’t but I thanked the young man anyway. The cashier who checked me out was not very friendly either. I was left with the impression that the workers here could not imagine that a woman in a dress suit maybe likes to bike too. I felt judged and their customer service was poor. Make sure you stop at home to put on your biking gear before you go in or they probably won’t want to help you! Oh and they are expensive!

I'm walking out of this store pretty pissed off about the customer service at this location. I used to work here and am at another job so I have a unique relationship with Erik's. You'd think Aaron Robinson would be happy to sell a former coworker some bags for an upcoming bike trip but you'd be wrong. Erik's is all about selling the experience and apparently Aaron would like me to have a horrible trip. I had to prod him quite a bit to engage with me at all much less look up the prices on the bags I was trying to compare. He doesn't care if I buy stuff from his store because in his words "he doesn't make commission anymore". One of the bags that I was looking for wasn't in the Woodbury store and he recommended that I go talk to Dennis in Vadnais Heights which is exactly what I'll do. Dennis Teeter has always treated me with respect and has been incredibly engaging. I'd recommend anyone who'd like a good experience at Erik's make the trip to Vadnais Heights so they can avoid Aaron Robinson and his reprehensible attitude towards any amount of customer service. I don't care if I used to work for Erik's I still want to be treated with the same respect as any other customer walking through the door. Especially since I've spent upwards of five hundred dollars in this store this summer. I work really close but will not spend another convenient cent in this store until they find another manager. Out of many the many people they could have chosen to replace the former manager Tim LeCloux they choose Aaron Robinson... What a joke!

The skate tool works great for me and the bearing are great except when they get wet.

It's skateboarding area could be expanded but its really good.

The second we went over to the area we were looking at someone came to help us.
