Best hardware store around. Home depot may be cheaper but always takes longer and the sevice sucks. Every time i go in to frattallone's no matter what random odd hardware or part im looking for they always have it and show me right where it is. Half the time i just give someone a crappy description of what i want and then they will say oh yeah isle 13 half way down on the right 2 feet up from the floor. Such great service i love this place.
Do not bring your lawn mower here for service. Brought in multiple times for the same repair. They did rework, it would work for a week then not restart. I talked to the manager couldn't get a refund. She blamed me for not using fresh gas which is untrue. They have now lost a customer for life. Very disappointing because I like to support local businesses.
Friendly helpful staff. I don't spend hours trying to find materials or tools like at Home Depot or Lowes. And my son loves the dinosaur toys.
I’ve never had any issues but my friends have gotten grief here but I won’t speak on their behalf. This is where I go when I need a certain part of hardware as a single or a handful etc. still has the mom and pop feeling that could fall victim to the big box stores. I live in the south west part of town so much easier than cutting across Woodbury to Home Depot.
Im sorry your customer service has really just died. You are only as good as your weakest player. 320pm tuesday the 3rd of october your sales associate was rude enough to get your store a one star rating. Ive been coming here for and loving it since i moved to woodbury 5 years ago even after i moved to the east side of town and the home depot is closer just because your customer service is so good. If i wanted to deal with rude no nothing sales associates i would just go to home depot because their prices are lower. Angry customer. Also the guy in line with us tried to warranty a craftsman screwdriver and the lady told him you dont do that anymore which is good to know. If you dont honor the craftsman warranty stop selling their tools. Every other store in town that sells tools honours their manufacture warranty even northern tool.
This Ace is like most Ace hardware stores I've been in. They have a decent selection and the prices are reasonable for a neighborhood hardware store. I don't expect them to match prices with Menards or Home Depot. I know what I need and don't want help when I go to the hardware store, so I don't have perspective on the help offered by the staff here. They do all seem to be on the young side to have the type of experience in the field that you'd hope for in a hardware store.
