Amazing staff, great service. I had my baby boy here and the staff was amazing! I want to say thanks to all of you guys midwifery and nurse...

I have been hospitalized many times and I must say that Woodwinds qualifies as a caring place with patient care of the highest quality. My buzzer was answered promptly and I was treated with great respect and care. This is not always the case in hospitals as I have stayed where it consistently took 30 minutes up to a high of 45 min to answer a buzzer. I asked if they were understaffed and the answer was no, why? Thank you Woodwinds!

Had an bee sting and went into anaphylaxis, went to the ER and got treated promptly and well. I was moved up in triage for obvious reasons, but there were some people that were waiting for quite awhile it looked like.

I went to Woodwinds ER last night around 9pm with my dad who had severe pain leading from a cracked tooth all the way up the right side of his face through his gum, nose, and even eye. He is not one to complain at all, is the strongest guy I know and has a very high pain tolerance so taking this trip was obviously an emergency. I’m rating this one star because he left ALITTLE relieved but if I could rate 0 stars regarding my experience, I would. I’m not one to complain either I hate doing it BUT my mom is a nurse, I am in nursing school and the way things were handled felt more than wrong. It felt like a typical doctors office having different doctors come in every 20-30 mins when we were in an ER for a reason. My dad couldn’t sit still, his pain was increasing and once they came in and said one thing I knew we wouldn’t see them again for 20+ minutes. I’m not sure if it was because my dad had issues with his insurance, or what it was but I’m hoping that there secretly was a reason for the fact that they don’t treat every patient like that. I understand that it was late, doctors are busy, but (a) patient should be the number one priority and once they walk through the doors and into a bed, they are your responsibility.. why would you not want to do whatever you can to help someone! After over an hour and a half they gave him an IM (intra-muscular) shot which took the edge off his pain but not completely. I’m just upset with how long it took to get him that little bit of relief, the lack of care that was shown, no concern what’s so ever that someone feels like they can’t even handle the pain anymore.. it was just disturbing and upsetting to say the least!! I’m very thankful we got help but I hope a better experience is offered to future patients, no matter what. Oh and also they don’t say this but they should let people know especially ER patients at all hours who could benefit from this, **there is a 24 hour Walgreens pharmacy less than a few miles from this hospital** it is also one of the very few 24 hour Walgreens so take advantage of it! We went all the way back to WSP just to find out our pharmacy had changed hours and the nearest one was Woodbury.. where we had just left. Would’ve been great to know.

We had a very long labor and recovery, and the many nurses and staff such as Lactation consultants and doctors were always very helpful and kind to us. It was amazing seeing the follow through they made to ensure my wife was getting optimal treatment as a patient. It was a wonderful experience having our baby girl here, because it was all done in the same room, so we didn’t have to worry about moving to different units in the building. They could improve on a few things. The complementary services, such as acupuncture and massage therapy, are only offered Monday-Friday, but many patients like us deliver during the weekend. Also, it took way too long for us to be discharged from the hospital. We had all our bags packed and were still waiting for a doctor to meet with us when all we wanted to do was go home after staying here for six nights.
