My tab renewal went relatively quickly but it was the usual irritating government office experience. Staff told the person ahead of me to get out a driver's license then told me when I handed over mine that it wasn't necessary. Also told the person ahead of me to get out an insurance card and told me the card was unnecessary. Consistency?
UPDATED: Went to renew my license this week and Connie was extremely helpful. There were only 2 people working the desk and when it started to get busy Connie came and helped. Very nice and very fast. In and out in 10 minutes (after paperwork). Great job. OLD: Some of the rudest people I have ever worked with. Services, such as passports, watercraft licensing, etc. are new to many people and the Woodbury DMV talks down to you as if you are inconveniencing them and are stupid. I am a professional and have asked very innocent questions in regards to the process and was responded by staff with, "No", "that's not how its done", etc. while sighing and behaving completely unprofessional. Something needs to be done to improve the customer service as our tax dollars fund this and is ridiculous.
I always had good experience. Yes sometimes the lines are long and I don't get offended easily either so maybe that helps.
The Woodbury DMV is quick and filled with friendly, helpful faces. I was in and out on a Friday at 930am in about 10-15 minutes!
Nice customer experience. There was long queue due to Friday evening/month end rush, but it was very good experience otherwise. Would avoid going on Friday afternoon/month end.
